Valencia Spain
Valencia, is the capital of the Community of Valencia formed by Castellon, Alicante and the own Valencia. It is a coastal city that represents the third most important city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona, it has a population of one million.
Tourism is a well established industry in Valencia, above all in municipalities like Benidorm, Gandía and Denia which are all synoymous with sunshine, beaches and fun holidays.
If the Valencia region is the capital of tourism in Spain, Valencia city is the cpaital of the region. There is an important industrial Port, the second largest in Spain after the Port of Algeciras.
Valencia offers visitors a huge range of options when it comes to fun, leisure, and culture, and no end of tourist attractions, including long, sandy beaches and beautiful mountains.
The majority of Valencia's beaches have access for the disabled, allowing them to also enjoy a dip in the warm, Mediterranean waters.
Valencia also offers many facilities for outdoor sports, from a round of golf, to a trip on a sailing boat, or windsurfing and kitesurfing.
The area has a busy schedule of festivals and cultural events, including the famous Fallas festival, and tourism infrastructures to suit all tastes.
In addition Valencia has a wonderful Mediterranean cuisine, conference facilities, and leisure and culture spaces like the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia city.
Valencia capital is a city with almost one million inhabitants, where the lights blend with the moon, and the aroma of gunpowder, paella, flowers and Fallas fill the air.
